Down- The conversation- Episode Two

Down the series, has been getting interesting with new twists and a major revelation in the ‘next on Down’ bit for the second episode.

In answer to the questions raised in this episode, we have Enobong Iqua-Ibom and Mr. Iremide Akinsola with beautiful answers.
But before then, let’s briefly look at the questions for this week:
*What do you think might have changed with Adebimpe?
*Andrew forgot about his wife and was catching up with an ex, what does that make him?
*Do you think it is true that time changes people? Was it time that changed Adebimpe?

And Eno’s response,

-well I think what changed Abebimpe was pain and hurt that didn’t heal as a result of a breakup with Andrew.
-I think it just says he’s a human being, we have the possibility to be distracted no matter how passionate we are about something or someone. Sure it isn’t nice to the wife who needs his attention but it happens, we are human beings, that’s why the best person to trust is God, he never disappoints.
-time itself doesn’t change people. Its the experiences, physical, emotional, spiritual, etc that a person has during the time that changes the person. So its not exactly time that changed Bimpe, but the experiences she had during that time.

Thank you Eno.

Now, Mr. Iremide’s

*What do you think might have changed with Adebimpe?
Life happens to people. She might have been changed by the events that happened to her after they broke up.
*Andrew forgot about his wife and was catching up with an ex, what does that make him?
It makes him human. Lol. He wasn’t lusting after the ex na or something of sorts. He was just deep in conversation. If he had rejected his wife’s call now. Ehen. That would have been different.
*Do you think it is true that time changes people? Was it time that changed Adebimpe?
Well, it’s either time changed her or time revealed her true nature. We can never really know.

For the first question, let’s leave that to your speculation..

I totally agree with Mr. Ire and Eno’s responses to the second question. Andrew’s forgetting his wife briefly only makes him human.

And time itself don’t change people, like they rightly stated.. But people change over time as a result of the choices they make wittingly or not.
