DOWN- The conversation- Episode one

Hey yo #CFCFam to all those who have read the first episode thank you and I hope you enjoyed it. To you who haven’t read it, what exactly are you waiting for? šŸ™„šŸ™„
So this is a forum to answer the questions raised in your favorite blog fiction series #CFCDown, to all you that read without commenting, well done oh.
On today’s conversation, we only have two responses,Ā not quite cool, but it’s fine. Hopefully, increase with subsequent episodes.

Let’s briefly look at the questions again,
*Do you think that Godā€™s will in choosing a life partner is a myth, something people just use to assert their own choice, or do you think it is real?

*Considering Adebimpe and Andrew, do you think a relationship that was ordained by God can still hit rock bottom? and why.
*Do you think you would keep tabs on this series till the end? And why?
The first response came from Mr. Akinsola Iremide a prolific gospel writer himself, an author and blogger at www.iremideakinsola.wordpress.com
And he is an ardent reader of this blog.

*Do you think that Godā€™s will in choosing a life partner is a myth, something people just use to assert their own choice or do you think it is real?
Well, I believe that God has a plan for each of us and that He is interested in every decision that we make. From the ā€œlittle thingsā€ to the ā€œbig thingsā€, God seeks to direct us. So, on the issue of a life partner, I believe that God is able to guide his children on who to marry. He guides, but he gives us the free will to choose.
*Considering Adebimpe and Andrew, do you think a relationship that was ordained by God can still hit rock bottom? and why.
Yes, I believe so. A relationship involves two individuals from different backgrounds with different value systems among other things. So, failure to properly handle the differences could lead to a separation.
*Do you think you would keep tabs on this series till the end? And why?
Definitely! I enjoyed reading the first episode. Also, the writer is an amazing person!Ā šŸ™‚

Thank you very much sir, for dropping your thoughts.
The other response is from a friend and avid follower of the blog, Iquaibom Enobong -no prize for guessing where she is from šŸ˜‹
“Well…on the life partner thing…God did that with Adam and it ended badly..and in Proverbs 18:22…it said…he that finds a wife finds a good thingšŸ¤”
But as God’s children…he won’t leave us without a direction…he presents us with good options gives us the wisdom to make a pick but he doesn’t outrightly select for us
But I guess there are still some special cases…but in general…God just gives us good options. There are some special cases but we can’t make it a law.
Its just like in the case of having visions or hearing an audible voice from God…it happens but we can’t make special cases a rule
From the previous series, Leave to Cleave,Ā I remember that you quoted a Bible portion, Jeremiah 18:10 it said something about this…that yes…God can ordain it but if the people involved deviate from his will…God pulls out from it.
The way I understand it, it’s like a two-way contract… Or covenant.
But there are contracts sha that is only one way…like in what Christ did… He did it all, all we have to do is receive and enjoy.
That’s the way I see it sha…I might be wrong
Yea…I’m sticking around…I love you work and I learn a lot…and my English is improving šŸ˜‰…the dictionary is my friend when it comes to your work… If you know what I mean”
God bless you Eno, thank you for dropping your comment.
Blogger’s comment: I do believe in God’s direction in everything like Mr. Iremide Akinsola rightly said and his will is always the very best.
The two responses have settled the question of if or not a relationship ordained by God can fail.
Thank you all, episode two drops on Wednesday, and the conversation would continue. So, keep your fingers crossed.

  1. Hello and good afternoon goodness, my name is Timothy and I got your link through a friends status page on WhatsApp. Mr. Afiz Electra at Babcock University.
I have really enjoyed reading this story so far that I cannot wait to read the next episode. I will definitely be sticking with it to the very end and I will ensure to make comments to further episodes in the series.
One last Quick question, I noticed while reading Eno’s comment that you’ve had a previous series titled leave to Cleave, please how can I access this?

  2. Hey goodness… I think this is absolutely awesome, if only because it is practical, realistic and down-to-earth. Well, as to hearing God for marital choices,it is no myth. God still directs His children on marital choices…He will do till the end of time. However, as in every other affair of man, God does not impose his marital will on us. No. He guides us in making the right choice.
And I will be following this up closely toošŸ˜
